The coalition said the Iraqi National on the need to accelerate the formation of the government, calling on all political blocs to take a clear stance and aggressive of the big problem affecting the country, which is the citizen victims. On the other hand the National Coalition praised the great efforts made by members of our armed forces and bear the harsh conditions they carry out their duties .. calling security leaders to redouble their efforts to save the lives of the people, and to prevent a security vacuum after the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq. He also announced that the Iraqi National Coalition is to study how to select its candidate for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which will be submitted within days.

terryk] Official: Obama plans Iraq speech after vacation … August 22, 2010 Official: Obama plans Iraq speech after vacation President Barack Obama plans a major speech on Iraq after his return to Washington as the last U.S. combat troops prepare to leave Iraq. That’s according to a senior administration official who spoke on condition of anonymity Sunday because details are being finalized. The speech will come shortly after Obama returns to the White House on Aug. 29 from his Martha’s Vineyard vacation. The U.S. will have 50,000 troops in Iraq when the combat mission officially ends Aug. 31. The planned speech was first reported Sunday by The New York Times
